MBSR Teacher Training

We offer the 8-week MBSR program, which is a prerequisite for teacher training. At present, we offer this program for healthcare and other professionals, as well as mentoring for teachers in training. We don’t offer MBSR teacher certification.

We are among the founding members of the North American MBSR Alliance, currently meeting to establish standardized MBSR teacher training across North America. This Alliance will collaborate with organizations outside of North America to work toward setting international standards.

We are committed to meeting the highest standards for mindfulness training and teacher training in mindfulness-based interventions. We require our instructors to adhere to the rigorous standards for professional development set out by the Center for Mindfulness (CFM), University of Massachusetts Medical School and by the UK Network for Mindfulness-Based Teacher Trainer Organisations.
